The Adebouwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, (Oba) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, and his Council of Chiefs have commended the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), over school projects that he has facilitated within the Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Speaking on behalf of the Adeboruwa – in – Council, Oba Kasali also acknowledged the impacts and quality representation by the first term lawmaker across the whole of Constituency II.
The royal father who said that the representative has done very well, spoke with THE IMPACT at his royal palace.
AMA, has fondly called by his supporters, admirers and many others, facilitated the construction of 18-classroom block, renovation of six classrooms and an office with toilets and the raising of the existing perimeter fence for improved security at Reri Senior Secondary School, Reri in Igbogbo.
Also, following the lawmaker’s intervention, the Lagos State Government is also embarking on renovation of eight classrooms equipped with toilets, renovation of six additional classrooms, structural reinforcement of three classrooms and raising of the existing fence to ensure privacy and safety, at the Local Government Primary School, Oreta.
While at Lajo Junior Secondary School, the government through the Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS) is constructing a functional 18 -classroom structure and also the construction of a reinforced fence on a raft foundation, two gate houses and a food shed.
At Luwasa Junior Secondary School, the first term lawmaker is rehabilitating a dilapidated block of 7 Classrooms with offices.
“I am really happy for Hon. Aro Moshood, our representative who has been facilitating the construction of model school projects in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and other parts of his constituency.
“These projects would go a long way in creating an enabling environment for our children to learn and teachers to impact knowledge.
“The entire Adeboruwa – in – Council acknowledges his quality representation and efforts in ensuring that our people get dividends of democracy.
“I also commend him for his commitment to various communities’ development and direct impact on residents. On behalf of the Adeboruwa – in – Council, I pray that God will continues to sustain him and empower him to do more.”
The royal father also recognised that “Within a short period, Hon. Aro has shown our people that they have given their mandate to a reliable and dependable representative.
“We are thanking him for his impacts on the youths, women, traditional institution and the generality of Ikorodu Constituency II, Igbogbo in particular”, Oba Kasali said.
